Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. Like a lot of kids, growing up in the 60's, I built models - bad models. I did the usual things, lit them on fire, blew them up with firecrackers, etc. I continued building, into my teens, when girls & 1:1 scale cars took over my spare time. I never really quit models, I'd build on, here & there. Then, in the early 80's, a friend, at work, showed me a scale Ford Cosworth Formula 1 engine he was working on. I went to the local hobby shop, found a Monogram Reher & Morrison Pro Stock Camaro & a magazine called Scale Auto Enthusiast. It was on! I built for the better part of 10 years. My skills improved, I joined a club, went to & entered contests.
After moving, a couple times, I got married & raise a couple kids. When the kids got bigger, I tried a few times, to get back into building. I tried to start back up, where I left off. That turned into frustration & stalled projects. Add to that, I had no real place to build. So I built my first dedicated work space. I went to Ikea & bought a display case. I soon outgrew my work space, so I turned our guest room, into a hobby room.
